I agree with Elbert Hubbard's short story, and his story is till relevant today! Every man/woman who wants to succeed needs to take initiative, discard incompetence, strive for excellence, and be inspired. Taking initiative "is the ability to assess and initiate things independently." This is one of the main points that Mr. Elbert Hubbard is hitting on. He said " He is wanted in every city, town, and village - in every office, shop, store and factory. The world cries out for such; he is needed, and needed badly—the man who can find Garcia." He is also saying don't be the average man because he is incompetent, which in our culture today is also mainly still true, we should all strive for excellence to be above the general population. and his last point if a man/woman is the smartest, most competent man/woman ever, but does not have inspiration, he/she is useless. August, 30 2017 Today in Human Geo. I got there late because my locker was not working, then Vlad tried to get his blog working for the entirety of the class but in the end it failed :( . The rest of the class Mr. Schick went over the syllabus for his class. We talked about the late policies. The policy is that if it is one day late it is 10% off and every day after that another 10% is taken off, and if it is more than four days late it is worth 0%. After this we went over the class definition of Human Geography, Mr. Schick said "its not just the rivers and streams, and mountains, but the people who live by the streams, rivers, and mountains". Then we talked about grade percentages test 100-200, quizzes 50, and classwork 25. After school today our JV soccer team has a scrimmage on the track field, but I can't play until next week, because I have a broken collar bone.

Today in Honors Human Geography and at John Carroll I feel exited to start my four year journey at John Carroll. In class on Friday Mr. Schick only had seven minutes to prepare us for our first day at John Carroll. Today in class Mr. Schick explained the daily blog to us, and how to set it up. My first day at John Carroll was on Friday August 25th, we had abnormal schedule with seven minute mini mods, and a meeting in the auditorium to start the day. in the auditorium we had a few members of the John Carroll administration talk to us about our future a John Carroll. Then we broke off into our advisory's, and got our lockers and locker combo. later that same day I had a JV soccer game vs. Perryville. We won our game 10-0 and I gave out all the water and I filled them so the players could drink and stay hydrated.
